I don't understand. If he was being so careful about cleaning all specks of dust away, then why was he not wearing a full dustless overall and cap?!

@peteacher52 well good answer but,you must also know that he is not cleaning the dust rather he is wiping out the residue of Semi Conductors after splicing the insulation which if left and not be cared properly will cause the termination failure sooner or later.yhis is Alfannar Packaged SS 1.5MVA and the cable is 3C-300²mm copper xlpe cable /swa

this compact substation from altuwairqi manufacture ... for more information open

i do the same jointing .... 300mm2 cable ... 3core , with 1MVA substation ...

Rmu ... 5 MVA loop ... 3 loop substation ...

at the 0:10 ... he clean each phase carefully with special cleaner ... cos the dust make loses and tree spark and some times short circuit ... and this will effect on the cable isolation and connectivity ....
