Spanish television show with sort interview and performance in a home. Uploaded by mariguari (http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=mariguari) who asked me to also post it here. Not the cleanest performance, but I don't know how he plays anything trying to stamp out the drum part with his feet!

  • He was (and still is) the most interesting sounding guitarist I ever heard. The world lost him too soon.

  • Yes. I actually have always felt torn, I've been a Hedges fan since back in the day, and it was nice having this unreal music as part of a community of people "in the know", wherever you went you could find people into what Michael was doing and you had new friends. Yet I've always wondered why the whole world doesn't stand up and say "THIS man is among the greats of all time", why he isn't a household name. No one's ever played music like this.

that's a simple one to answer, as most of us americans feel this faux sense of freedom, etc, we are indeed following communist guidelines. And one of the tools to train a society as ours is called the media, the media is the number one educator of americans, for this is certainly obvious to most...The media dictates our daily life, if anyone doubts this, just turn on your tv,and/or radio.Rap is music?or brittney spears,#9 all time recording artist, lol.embarrassing to be american

  • @jazzpsalti Not to mention he is always in a new tuning so the improvision area is different all the time

  • incredible!!

  • One of my favourite pieces from the man himself, if not my favourite. So dynamic that yes, it actually does sound like many musicians playing at the same time...

    Blows me away every time...

  • He's also the only non-jazz guitarist to takes improvisatory risks while he plays, he does it about 3-4 times in this rendition... amazing! :) :) :)
