Windows 7 compatibility issue's with Cam Studio

I used if full screen closed and this happened, now I used it again with small box, same thing, so I know that windows 7 doesnt like this.

It did the same exact thing to mine. I was pissed and scared thinking my computer would blow. Do you know of any other Screen Recording Programs that are free?

@derek7x It works fine you just need to put it into compatability mode for XP SP2 or Vista..

When diminished, the program icon sits in the tray. Close it from there - not from the task bar (which is showing the "flashing" task, not the program). Disable the flashing window markers entirely if you keep doing this 'cause you forget.

Happened to me before just now! Running Windows 7 64 Bit, forgot what i did to provoke I believe i full screened too. I had to clerverly navigate to task manager to close the program.

Also after recording, it never pops up where to save the file so I just uninstalled it. Believe i was running 2.6 beta, 2.0 "with black screen" works well, but records in a small square of space and not full screen.
