Smallville Doomsday Review and Spoilers

Smallville season 8 ended with a battle that was set up since the very beginning of the season. It had many interesting twists, and two deaths, one VERY surprising.

@thegorgeousgeeks Yeah, I think the Writer's Strike was going on at the time. Maybe they hired new writers to continue the story. Who knows? lol

@DANgerous124 I applaud them for tricking us all like that, but it still felt like a random plot twist to me. I don't even remember them mentioning the orb that Tess had until towards the end. I can't give Smallville the benefit of the doubt because sometimes they fail at story telling. I for sure think they're getting better, but it sort of seemed like they were making that part up as they went along.

@thegorgeousgeeks I guess the writers wanted to shock all the fans. lol I think that it was actually a pretty genius idea. It sure fooled me but then I saw the kid. I thought that he would be the real Jimmy but I wasn't so sure until I saw another review of the finale. I guess the boy wasn't there because Henry didn't invite his family to the wedding. I don't really think that they were close as a family.

@DANgerous124 Yeah, we got that. I think we mentioned the kid eventually, but we only had so much to stuff into the video. But Smallville should have hinted that he had a brother if they wanted to make sense. Why wasn't the little boy at Jimmy's wedding? It was a random plot twist!

@ThePunisherSpider It's not actually Jimmy Olsen. It was his older brother, Henry James Olsen. Chloe gave "Jimmy's" camera to his little brother who just happens to wear a bowtie. So we can all assume that he's Jimmy Olsen and then the age thing would make sense.

the worst season finale ever. i was so disappointed at the end and thought there was more to it because i couldn't believe they'd end it this way.

LMAO Loved the Supernatural shout out "KNEEL BEFORE TODD" I totally weirdly always think of that whenever Zod commands it. You guys should do more Smallville commentaries

i liked the episode a lot. the only thing i didnt like was that the fight was a little to short although it was a good fight

cause she lost that power arent you paying attenion. when brainiac took over her body, she lost that power. plus she would have died. he disrespected her and she goin to die for him.
