I live in New Mexico and I don't see any jobs being created. In fact, Harry Teague caused his oil company to lose value when he voted for cap and trade, wasted money by voting for the stimulus bill and has ignored the people. Don't lie to me or New Mexico. Pearce has never voted for stimulus bills that waste money.

  • Man, what a dumb ad. Harry Teague wont create jobs??? He already has, and helped stabilize our economy. How is Steve Pearce going to create his promised jobs? More Government spending? Ugh. Easy choice, vote for Harry, a proven independent, strong voice for Southern New Mexico

  • Bring back Steve Pearce for U.S. Congress!

    Bull.

Pearce worked on that project for years. The Corps of Engineers had to comply with numerous laws, including an extensive archaeological survey before one dime could be spent for engineering. That survey was completed in 2005, & sent up the chain.

Then, among other things to be done by law, the Corps had to conduct testing to ensure appropriate soil & bedrock conditions, design the project, get the funding & then right of way, then put the project out for competitive bid.

  • The irrigation dam that supplies water to residents of Puerto de Luna was broken for approx 5 years. Residents plead with Steve Pearce to help get the dam repaired, to no avail. Within a couple of months of making the same request of Harry Teague, reconstruction of the dam had started. Now the residents have water and are no longer losing 100-year-old cottonwood trees and will be able to plant crops. Teague has been working for his constituents in ways Pearce never did. Actions count!!
