Short test-flight with a Lumix DMC-TZ7 Camera mounted on a Hexakopter with the HighSight II camera mount.
The Nick Axis is very jittering because of the servo. Here a servo with a higher resolution or a gear (for example 3:1) would be a solution to reduce the "shaking".

  • @photo3air This makes totally sense ;) Thanx for the info.

  • Hi. I stombled on your video at the Speedyweb.at page. You say that there's no rolling shutter or "jello-effect". There's a reason to it: you have a CCD camera, not a CMOS one. Therefact it's impossible to have the rolling shutter effect... your camera is just immune to it.

  • @CRAZCHEVBOY up to 1kg sould be no problem...

  • @CJVideoProductions Yes, it's stabilized, but the servos are too fast / digital.

I will try some other servos in near future. (We got snow today - it's getting cold ... brrr)

  • Is that camera mount gyro stabilized?

  • wow really nice HD video, the colors are really graphic awesome camera, how much does this hovercraft lift up?
