She's severely underrated. I don't understand why talent is so unpopular. It seems the more you have the less credit and attention you get for it.

Probably Billy Corgan is the man in the chapeter :MADNESS IN HOLLYWOOD in her book. She says about an ex-boyfriend who use to be very violent.She also says that this guy had bipolar disorder (like Emilie) but now she knows that madness don't makes you homophobic,racist and a completly idiot.All the things she learned about him afer that.

the sad thing is that it seems like it's mostly emilie fans who have seen this video and commented on her not being given enough credit, and she's sitting in the back by herself. it seems like tv media don't recognize her large base of fans, including me, that would love for her to be recognized and seen as a wonderful musician.

gabrieladeception, it's not sad at all! This performance was done before Opheliac was released and Emilie was not well known by most of her current fans. That's why she was referred to as a "local artist" Clearly, Billy and Dennis brought her on stage after the performance to chat (even in the background) because they recognized her immense talent.
