  • whats the difference between the Hotrod 62 and just the 62

  • 1962 was another watershed year for the Stratocaster guitar. Five years of experimentation after the famous 57 model culminated in another benchmark year for the Stratocaster. Now, the American Vintage 62 Stratocaster recalls the vibe of its Kennedy-era progenitor, and features a capped rosewood fingerboard, three-ply aged white pickguard and unique 57/62 pickups.

  • Great classic features include vintage styling and a thin-skin nitrocellulose lacquer finish; modern features include three American Vintage Strat® single-coil pickups (with reverse-wound/reverse-polarity middle pickup), a satin-backed neck with a flatter radius and medium-jumbo frets. Looks, sounds and feel both vintage and brand-new at the same time!

  • hey i like your videos they are really informative. got my sub, do you offer shipping to Austria?

  • Sorry, still not offering international shipping.

  • haha its always the same guy in this videos

  • @heyfuckyou1997 The middle knob (first tone knob) seems to do nothing but the bottom one turns it into a twangier sound by increasing. The sound you get from it is basically the same as playing on the bridge pickup though, so you were probably testing it while you were on that pickup, thus nullifying the effects of the tone knob.

  • Does it cost like $1699?

  • What are these priced at?

  • has anyone noticed that the tone controlls do absoulety nothing on a stratocaster thumbs up if you agree

  • @jamesdewer ...........keep it for 20 yrs. It will be worth way more. Trust me.

  • This guy sounds like Mr Garrison from Southpark, reverse wound reverse polarity, mmmkay.

  • @campanis the 62 standard has a 3 way switch instead of a 5 and no reverse wound pick up in the middle. it also has a thinner neck and no satin back.
