An investigation into allegations of cockfighting led to the Dec. 15, 2011, arrest of a Santa Fe, Texas, man on felony charges, authorities said. Officers arrested the man accused of raising roosters to sell for fighting. Officers found no signs of animal cruelty, so the man was able to keep his birds, Lt. Joel Caldwell, an animal cruelty investigator with the Galveston Police Department, said.
Mr Kelso, I love you and your gamefowls.

Every thing that Goodwen said about the trimmed comb, wattle and spurs is true, it is also true for show birds. I am a poultry judge certified to judge the American Game Bird. I assure you that the trim that I say in this video are legal and I think Goodwen is just working the police to enrich himself as he did not show a single bird that was injured by fighting. Many cockers of the past keep the bloodline because they just enjoy the beauty of the animal. What is un american about that?

Our country is falling to ruins and cops want to harrass a man with gamecocks. I personally feel that each county in each state should vote and decide the laws on rooster fighting,. The HSUS is only concerned with their animal rights agenda thus justice is trampled....
