    Keyword here is "emotion". Most web advertising so far has lacked that level whicj is the most important in all advertising. Steve Jobs has understood that and is offering a way to create great advertising in the digital communication spaces.

    okay im having trouble understanding. what exactly will this do? and how will this affect an iphone user?

    to me it sounds like it is going to ruin apps.. having an add pop up every minute.

    Its not gonna ruin any apps, its just gonna replace the UGLY Google ads (made by AdMob) in applications like Paper Toss and in Websites like TUAW/Engadget etc.

    so i have to throw away 40% of my ad profits all so i can stay inside of the iphone app. What a waste. Apple just wants to cut into everyone's profits.

    That must be why iAd is a failure and has reduced its start-up price to 1/4 of the original. Breakthrough ads. lol. It's about practicality and targeting, not emotion. Just ask Google.
