The Nestle Purina factory in Barrhead, near Glasgow, made pet food - with a brief break to make baby food. The 200 employees were laid off in 2004, when Nestle decided that the factory was uneconomic. Since being left abandoned several fires have taken place here destroying several areas of the factory, much of the factory has been stripped but several small details of what was once there remain.

Music is by Jupi/ter - The End

Recored with a Canon 600d / Panasonic SD60.

Edited with Adobe Premiere CS5.

Colour Graded with Magic Bullet Looks.

  • @Cortake There is a beauty in the earth reclaiming a place but a sadness for the loss of the buildings where once people worked and had many memories.
