Chap. 2! Comment and Rate pleaaaase!
Joe's POV
I faintly knock on the door of Alyssa's house. Me and my brothers hesitate to knock again after about a minute. I hear the door knob twist and I see a beautifully arranged girl standing there, smiling. "Um... Can we see Alyssa Lewis please?" I ask. The girl bursts out laughing. "I AM Alyssa Lewis." She smiles. I stand there with my mouth wide open. "No your not!" I say smiling. She walks closer to me. As she gets closer to my face, I see familiar eyes stare back at me. "Alyssa..." I gasp, touching her cheeks with both of my hands. I smile down at her, ready to just kiss her. Then I remember Sophia... My girlfriend. Tears fill her eyes. "I-I missed y-you!" Alyssa crashes into my chest. "Alyssa..." I say again, hugging her tightly. We missed each other so much... "J-Joe..." She cries. "Oh, Ally..." I hug her, smiling at Nick and Kevin. "Why don't you guys come inside?" I hear the sleek, swift voice of Alyssa's mother, Deanna Lewis. I smile at her, releasing Alyssa. We all walk inside her familiar house. I get a shiver down my spine as I look around. I look over to Nick as I slip my hand around Alyssa's waist. Nick smiles awkwardly. "What?" I lip to him. He purses his lips together. "Something's missing." He lips back. I look around, observing. Everything looks normal... Alyssa looks at me, leaning her head on my shoulder. I smile, putting my other arm around her. "Stop... You're getting yourself all worked up." I wipe a tear from her cheek. She laughs and hugs me still. I try to smile but, I keep on thinking of what's missing...
Me, Alyssa, Nick, and Kevin scurry up the stairs to Alyssa's room. I walk in, smiling, to see a familiar light blue room in front of me. "It's a little different." She smiles. I nod and look around. The only thing that didn't change is the picture hanging above her dresser. Me, Nick, Kevin and Alyssa when we all went to LBI for two weeks. I look at Alyssa sitting on my lap, Nick actually smiling, and Kevin smiling too. I tilt my head to the side. I snap back to reality when Nick talks. "Wow... I never thought I would be in here again." Alyssa nods, then sits on her bed. "I know... I remember your old house..." Nick smiles faintly. "Yeah... Wasn't that fun?" I sit next to Alyssa. She suddenly stares into space. I lean my head down to look at her." Lyss?" I ask, seeing a single tear fall from her eye. Nick and Kevin kneel down next to us. "What's wrong, Lyss?" I ask, hugging her slightly. She looks up and stands up, her chin up high. Alyssa walks over to a picture on her dresser. A picture of her dad. I look over to Kevin and Nick. Then, I look back over to Alyssa. "Why did they have to take you away..." She whispers to the faint black and white photograph. "What?" I ask, quietly going next to her. She strokes the picture with her smooth fingertips. Alyssa sniffles and looks over to my concerned face. "Um... My dad... He, uh... died two months ago..." She forces out of her mouth. I cover my mouth, hearing Nick gasp. THAT'S what was missing... "Why didn't you tell us?" Kevin asks. "I dunno..." " How?" I ask. Her eyes grow wide. Alyssa looks over to me. "He um... " She stumbles. I puzzle my face. "H-he..." She tries to say. She doesn't answer. "He..." Alyssa drops to the floor and closes her eyes. She let's out a faint wince then, is silent. "Dudes! I think she fainted!" I yell when my brothers come over franticly. "Oh no..." Nick looks at her, gritting his teeth. Crap...
Alyssa's POV
I wait for the boys to stop making a big deal. "Alyssa!" I feel a warm hand on my cheek. I still stay silent as I feel it still there. I can't believe they can't already see I'm faking... "What should we do? Joe?!" I hear Kevin cry. "What do you want me to do? Go down to Deanna and be like, oh yeah... I sorta pressured your daughter into answering a question about her dead dad and now she's like,... on the floor!?" Joe yells at Kevin. "Um..." Kevin answers. "Ugh..." Joe grunts. "Alyssa..." He whispers. I dare not move a muscle. "I have an idea that worked with me when Miley fainted once..." Nick mutters. "What did you do? Kiss her?" Joe asks. There was a long silence. "Oh, NO... Dude, I have a girlfriend already." I feel my throat close up real small, making it hard to breathe. "Just do it! It worked instantly!" Nick yells. Joe inhales then exhales. I feel his warm breath on me suddenly. I want to wake up right now but, I've been waiting for this moment too long... I feel his breath get heavier as I lay there in silence.
=D... =( Sorry if it was rushed... I sorta was writing that and doing HW at the same time. DO NOT EVER DO THAT! IT'S BAD... =)...
