Netgear presented its new NAS products 'Ready NAS Duo' series during CeBIT 2008, which features compact and stylish design.
The ReadyNAS™ Duo 500GB Home Media Server (RND2150), ReadyNAS Duo 750GB Home Media Server (RND2175) and ReadyNAS Duo 1TB Home Media Server (RND2110) are intelligent award-winning network storage solutions that enable consumers to centralize, organize, and serve digital media throughout the home to a growing variety of network-attached devices including Windows- and Macintosh-based computers, digital media receivers such as the NETGEAR Digital Entertainer HD, and game consoles.
To protect valuable stored digital media, ReadyNAS Duo, when equipped with the optional second drive, automatically mirrors all digital data to protect against data loss due to a disk failure using NETGEAR's own patent-pending X-RAID™ technology.
By simply connecting any digital camera to the front-mounted USB port, ReadyNAS Duo quickly and easily copies the photos, and makes them available to friends and family across the Internet.
In addition, ReadyNAS Duo also provides integrated support for BitTorrent™ enabling users to download digital entertainment content directly to the ReadyNAS Duo without requiring any of the network computers to be on and in use.

  • They Bombed our chip shops you know.. During WWII (LOL)

I am thinking of getting a p4 small box (S/H)and using that instead..many disks and more CPU power and all for less money. I could run winxp and XBMC as both a media player and a NAS
