I think this is a glimpse of what Barry could have been if he went to any other teams other than the Lions. He was averaging 5 ypc even when meeting defenders in the backfield every other play. Ridiculous

What did I love most about Barry Sanders? He went out on the field and performed athletic miracles. Often he left half a dozen defenders with broken ankles on his way to the end zone. After reaching the end zone, what did he do? He flipped the ball to the ref and went back to the bench. No blustering. No bullshit bravado. He didn't even get in the faces of the defenders he just abused.
His crazy balance and speed amazed me, but his classiness on the field is what I will always remember most.

The special thing about it was that Barry didn't play a few times in the 4th quarter. He would rather let his team mates get playing time because they were winning. Had he played the whole games every games there's no doubt he would have over 3,000 yards and close to 50 TD.

Must have been the easiest time ever for Mike Gundy as Ok St QB. Handing the ball off to two NFL Hall of Fame RBs? Ridiculous.
