Who is "Joe American?"
Who does he work for?
What is he trying to achieve?

These questions are at the heart of what may be an attempt by lobbyists and corporate entities to take advantage of YouTube's viral video phenomenon in order to lobby for public support of controversial legislation... through a manipulative tactic called "Cognitive Framing." Look that term up and educate yourself.

"Joe American" is not who he claims to be. If you tried to post even a slightly critical comment on his video, it won't be approved. "Joe" has an agenda that most certainly can be traced back to "Big Oil" in America and, if successful, could spark a new wave of corporate lobbying on YouTube.

"[Iraqis] owe us!" - "Joe" (No, they don't.)
'[Congress] spends their time trying to protect animal habitats and questioning oil executives while ignoring the "national habitat," that suffers raising energy costs' - "Joe" (Guess where the land most of these "oil reserves" are on?)

Please don't let this kind of manipulation happen! Educate yourselves and don't let yourself start buying into his effort at cognitive framing.

It is nice that you make a video and propose that a bais exists in someone else's presentation, however, where is your statement of proof regarding your accusations? It is easy to attach an argument, but you must support such a proposition with facts of your own. Try again and maybe people will listen.

I agree with you, I really do. I didn't make an argument; I simply called "Joe" out on a few things. He censors comments, responses, and advocates an agenda that would help oil companies in the short run. So I say he is a lobbyist, and I say that he's misleading people with viral YouTube videos, and it's your job to educate yourself.

He is a lobbiest for the big oil companies?? That is about as dumb as Gores global warming propaganda. He wants our gas prices to come down!!If he was a for the oil companies he would want the prices to go up.Hello!?!? He also covers Obamas and McCains ideas on our energy crisis. Sounds win win to me. If we would follow his advice we would have no problems with energy. Dont you want lower gas prices? I know I sure do!

I know how you feel. I live in America and I pay $4 a gallon. I agree that something must be done. I disagree with McCain's plan for offshore and ANWR drilling because it's not the solution we need. It'll give people a false sense of resolution to the energy crisis and they'll go right back to buying SUVs. On top of that, it makes no guarantees of lowering oil prices. I'm also weary of Obama plan to sell off part of our SORs. US national security is at stake.

I'm not sure why people are attacking this guy. Who exactly do you think he is claiming to be? I agree with his plans and like he said,they aren't final. I just watched his immigration video and don't see how any American can disagree unless they are profiting from illegal immigration. Instead of trying to put this guy's suggestions down, why don't you give us yours. I'm willing to listen to any suggestions people have and I hope our presidential candidates are too.
