Students across the country took action in solidarity with the 45,000 Verizon workers who went on strike on August 7, 2011, to protest Verizon's greed. Even though the corporation makes billions a year, Verizon executives were demanding cutbacks that would take away $20,000 per worker. Students stand with workers against corporate greed and for economic justice!
