Truth & Mercy is a Christian, pro-life ministry which intervenes directly at the four Charlotte, NC abortion centers.

From 1988 to present, the lives of over 800 babies have been saved by the power of the Gospel and the combined efforts of this ministry and others.

Truth & Mercy, first, proclaims the truth about life in the womb and God's creative sovereignty, and does so where the killing actually takes place. When a mother's heart softens and changes, we extend great mercy and lavish her and her family with baby gifts: clothing, cribs, car seats, strollers, high chairs, swings, exersaucers, bouncy seats, pack-n-plays, diapers, wipes, formula, toys and books - anything and everthing a baby or mother might need.

We focus on the life-changing, life-saving message of salvation through Christ, because this message alone holds the power to melt hearts like wax-and to turn parents' hearts to their children.

Financial gifts are needed. Donations of new or gently-used baby items are greatly appreciated. Sidewalk counselors, Gospel proclaimers and praying Christians are always welcome to join us at the abortion sites, too!

  • Bear in mind that the forces which shape evolution have been extant for far, far longer than humanity, let alone various human philosophies. As for your (excellent) question, your concept of morality & mine are so different that I suspect we shall never agree! Humans are intrinsically aggressive, predatory primates with scant regard for the wellbeing of those outside their own family/tribal group - yet we´re the most altruistic animal ever studied!

  • @Del350K4 Correct. Humans are aggressive, predatory and selfish by nature...that is our sin nature, apart from God. Anything good that anyone (saved or not) does can be attributed to His common grace in our world. Christians who are redeemed by His mercy and grace respond out of gratitude by doing good works and helping their fellow man. That is my motive for the work I do. I am grateful for the love and mercy He has shown me. I take no salary and I give about 25 hours a week to this ministry.

  • @TruthMercy It´s always going to be a contentious issue. I have 3 sisters, 2 of whom are pro abortion and one anti. None of us are religious, preferring to place our faith in science. One could argue, perhaps, that humanity has always targeted the weak, defenceless, and even the unborn in that most horrible form of population control, war. Surely it makes more logical sense to end a life of only a few weeks´duration, rather than that of a young adult in whom years of love & care are invested?

  • @Del350K4 You are correct to say (sinful, unregenerate) humanity has always targeted the weak. That's what "science worshippers" do. This is the result of evolutionary thinking...the strongest survive. If there is no God, I am my own god - my own determiner of right/wrong. But you are hypocritcal to say that it's "better" to end the life of a younger person. What is "love & care" to protoplasm? War is just what protoplasm does when heated to 98.6 degrees. Why is war morally wrong, not abortion?

  • Do you protest outside of abortion clinics? Do you believe in birth control? I'm curious.

  • @krazykhaki Most importantly, I continue to develop a relationship with her and point her to Christ, His plan of salvation and His love for her and her child. Since 1988, when I began this ministry, over 980 babies have been saved that I know of. Most women have parented their children, but a few have placed their babies in loving, adoptive homes. Many, many women have come to saving faith in Christ. May God be glorified!

  • @krazykhaki When a woman's heart softens, by the the Holy Spirit, and she chooses life, I then shower her with everything she needs for her baby: cribs, car seats, strollers, swings, bouncy seats, 2 years of clothing in size 0-24 months, diapers, wipes, formula, blankets, bedding, bottles, bibs, toiletry items, hooded towels, washcloths, toys, books, maternity clothing, etc. This is the "MERCY" side of the ministry. It is a lavish expression of God's mercy, kindness and practical care.

  • @krazykhaki Yes, I go to Charlotte's abortion clinics and proclaim the Gospel. I don't call it a "protest" but instead a "proclamation of truth". I lovingly, yet unapologetically tell of God's truth concerning life and His sovereign right to rule our lives and bodies. This is the "TRUTH" portion of the ministry.

  • @Del350K4 So should we kill born people to solve this dilemma? Or do we just target the weak and defenseless? Should murder be our society's solution to our troubles and problems? On the contrary, our government currently subsidizes farmers and pays them to NOT grow crops!

  • But in an overpopulated world, with millions of surplus mouths to feed, we should embrace abortion as a way of helping to control our numbers! Already we wrench the fish from our oceans faster than they can replace themselves, we use unsustainable agricultural techniques to force the land to produce more than is reasonable to ask of it, just to feed the maw of humanity-surely abortion´s helping to save the world from overpopulation?
