Election Coverage JO 540 Boston University

JO 540 Online Journalism with Professor Michelle Johnson. The class broke up into teams to cover the Massachusetts gubernatorial election. An advance team wrote stories leading up to election night, the social media team created a Facebok and Twitter page so reporters in the field could drive traffic to their coverage. Each candidate was covered at election night headquarters.

Each group was asked to take video with a small Kodak flip cam to record their experiences covering an election. This video is made entirely of video shot on those flip cams, with still pictures from BU Interactive News, and I pulled it all together using Final Cut Pro.
