The Legend of Zelda - Journey of a Day Rom Hack (Hard Version) Part 1

ANNOTATIONS!
I have always loved Zelda II The Adventure of Link. It's one of the first games I've ever played since I was a child and I consider it a classic in video games. Looking around on the Internet, I came across this Zelda II rom hack. I was eager to play this since it looked vastly different and challenging. I love a good challenge once in a while. So, I decided to download it and play it on my Wii and record some footage (thank goodness for the Homebrew Channel!)

If you thought that the original Zelda II was challenging, let me assure you that's a walk in the park compared to this. Also, I decided to pick the Hard version. There's an Easy version, but I really wanted to challenge myself. Here are the most obvious changes:

-New GFX on almost everything
-Enemy AI is a lot tougher
-Enemies are much stronger
-Palaces have totally changed with a lot more "traps"
-Link starts out very weak
-Enemy encounters appear A LOT more frequently
-Most magic costs a lot more

There could be more, but isn't that enough???
After playing and utterly failing, I decided to hack the rom myself and change so that my lives are pretty much infinite. Having only 2 lives will not get me anywhere!

For this video, I show the beginning and I make my way to the first palace.

@TheDizzydevil61 Well, you need to have the rom hack. Search for it on Google. To play on the Wii, you need the homebrew channel and the fceugx emulator app.

@stanleymanley123 Nope. It's Zelda II for the NES that was hacked to make it a lot more challenging. Believe me if it was a real game, it would be the most hated zelda game because of its difficulty!
