  • I have always need purpose. I am an INFP. So not recovering quickly has been especially hard on that part of me that needs to know I have a reason for living. It can be hard to find when your body and mind are worn out, and you truly start to believe you have survived for nothing. I suppose depression may be in there a bit, but I am glad I have turned down the offer of meds and tried to get through on prayer and diet and exercise and one day at a time. God has been a real help to me.

  • Everything is easier when you have a clear sense of purpose, and I know from watching my aunt go through her rounds of chemotherapy, that a sense of purpose helped her.
