When you go to a Shawn Camp show you never know who may stop by to sit-in and lend their musical talents to the night's entertainment. On this particular night, bluegrass legend, Roland White stopped by. Shawn told the audience that Roland was the first person to get him up to play fiddle at the Station Inn when he moved to Nashville years ago. Also, Jenny Leigh, a terrific fiddle player making her name in bluegrass and Americana circles, stopped by and sat-in on this old tune.
The rest of the guys? Shawn Camp--guitar, Jimmy Stewart--dobro, Charlie Cushman--banjo, Mike Bub--bass and Chris Henry--mandolin. This group of guys is terrific every time I have seen them, no matter the venue! Check 'em out if you get the opportunity!! (December 10th--Station Inn)
