the fighting is to protect your stars retard, your star players, yes teams have goon squads that go out and hit good players and take them off therre game, so if that happens, another tought guy will step in and handle it for him. you know good team comrodare idiot, not testosteroen maddened people, i love hockey but i hate violence in real life, its part of the game since day 1, nobodys gonna die, unless the fight big george......

indeed I did mean break up, thanks. I still don't get the whole thing with the fighting, there's no other team sport that I know in which "fighting" is acceptable, I mean, the sport is hockey, not fighting. None of the other hockey variations include fighting, is this sport driven by testosterone-maddened people or something?
