@piasillo Your acting resonated sincerity and honesty. I felt forgiving humor at the end and that was a nice touch:) Keep up with the good work. You are a good actor.

@greenrate (Sorry, a host. And evokes, not envokes! This is my age showing. Just ignore the mistakes!). Regret (I recently threw away a bunch of love letters and Valentine's gifts from a woman who had hurt me. I already regret it, as they were a memory of an important part of my life, gone forever now), gratitude, a feeling of understanding or empathy, etc. This is the effect music has on me. About Spacey's interpretation, I'll have to listen to it again, I'm sure the music influenced me a lot.

@greenrate I find music a very powerful medium that envokes certain emotional responses from the listener, and when used judiciously within film can make for the most memorably poignant scenes. Whenever I hear the sountrack from this film in particular my heart really does fill up like a balloon. I think it makes me think back over my own life, which has seen some poignant moments also. Images and sounds from my past flood my mind and I have to fight back the tears. I host of emotions swamp me..
Although the text of this monologue reads "Gratitude" . . . the emotion that Kevin Spacey and the music convey in the movie . . . is really "Forgiveness", instead.
And the interpetation in this video . . . is closer to "Acceptance".
These are admittedly subtle distinctions . . . but they're what a proper acting method should allow you to realize.

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment on this video. When I recorded it, it was the day after I sliced off my fingertip at work (watch closely at the end and you will see the huge bandage on my finger at 2:42). I was still in a great deal of pain and was feeling that it was a sign that I am meant to be an actor and nothing else. I also intended for it to be truthful to me and not be a copy of Kevin Spacey. Thanks again!

Hi. No, I have not been to England. But I just finished a picture with Jeff Stewart from TV's THE BILL and he was such a delight to work with and has invited to come visit him and his mum in England. I've studied here in America.
