  • great story!one that every true kiss fan has known about for years.that kind of stuff just doesnt happen anymore.pure magic!thank you to all involved for posting this

  • @Bluestard

I'm not sure I remember it and I should have been there as I graduated in 73. Also only lived a couple of blocks from the high school near the corner of Division and Bond. Tell me more about it.

  • Jim forgot the Platters and the Dave Clark Five playing there.

They also had The Supremes,Sam the Sham and the Pharoahs and many bands from the early to mid sixties.

Still Kiss was "the" major event in Cadillac rock history.

Remember the concert at Memorial Football field in the summer of 71?

    That will never happen again.

  • A movie would be great.

But who would play Coach Neff now that Struther martin is dead?

  • OMG! my parents tell me about this ALLLL the time... I've gone to cadillac schools all my life : ) we just recently had a kiss tribute concert, which you probably knew... but yah... lol

  • You need a movie of this. My husband told me this story 30 minutes ago, and I didn't believe him, but thanks to you tube, here it is. Wow what a awesome legendary story.

    (Based on a true story.)

  • wow great stuff

  • An addendum to the story is the pure genius of Coach Neff and Coach Brines in turning around our season. These guys were master psychologists and knew how to loosen us up, because we were pressing too hard. Also, we had an outstanding offensive line and great blocking backs, not to mention lots of character. Thanks to Kiss and the coaches for the unbelievable memmories!
