@DieselDownunder His channel and other videos, one of which is conveniently titled "Who I am," could answer in more detail.

@IlersichProductions Thats a comprehensive answer - too bad that it answers the question...but really answers nothing....his birth name would suffice

I'm curious if the person who made the video now wishes they didn't have the Sheen family in there.

"The paper they wrote"? Darwin and Wallace did not write a joint paper. Separate documents were submitted to the Linnean Society. Wallace did not even know Darwin was submitting something.

=Darwin and Wallace did not write a joint paper. =
You're right. Well done. After dozens of posts you have finally hit a target.

But then you talk about long necks evolving from a need to reach high on the tree for leaves. This implies the giraffe mentioned earlier. If not the giraffe what?
Your horse diagram is another fiction debunked in Windchy's The End of Darwinism.

-If not the giraffe what?=
Please watch the video. I explain that I am making up a hypothetical animal. I call it a =hypotheticus=. The idea is to explain the principles of natural selection to people like you who have trouble understanding it. Even 5th graders who watch this video understand that the hypotheticus is not real.

You start off with four pictures of giraffes!
As for sexual selection for long necks, how did that get started? In what species? How can you "believe" something so speculative?
luftigus 2 years ago
=You start off with four pictures of giraffes!=
That was in reference to Lamark, not Darwin.
=How can you "believe" something so speculative? =
I don't.
