@hendrixkixas It's not easy to answer because each one have his own feeling, hands are different, but usely (except Tumb and the last finger (french and spanish = Auriculaire/Aurirular) about 2 mm only. I havn't camera video yet (i'll get one soon) i will show the different sounds and i will talk about others things to know in Flamenco guitar i didn't see (for the moment) on You Tube.

@hendrixkixas I mean the sound is made with the nail and the skin of the fingers together, not only nail like in classical. Many people think you must have very long nails but it's wrong except thumb nail.
