Thought this game was going to be good, it looked good, but it not that great.

I'm actually a bit impressed that someone pulled off parallax scrolling on the Electron. Although you can tell it's eating up most of the processor time.

What colour SHOULD Arnie be? Magenta?? That's the problem with only eight colours.
The Commodore 64 has a good flesh tone colour, but for that machine's version of Bruce Lee they decided to go with the YELLOW colour - stereotype or WHAT?

Parallax on the Electron, SHOCK!
Never played this version but it looks poor, & from Superior too. another SHOCK!
Thanks for posting Steve.

I'm enjoying the Acorn stuff Steve...
It's good fun stuff ...
Never seen anything of that system before.
Which ever system you investigate is dandy with me...
Early nights my man?

Hahahahaha "too much time in the sun bed". Best ever! Who on earth made THAT mistake! It looks pretty advanced for it's time though, but I think even a Sega Master System version would be more fun. Good vid!

I love how you're meant to kill American Eagles. That's bloody hilarious.
Christ all mighty , i never realized the Electron got such big budget holloywood ports", very impressed with that , hate the game though lol

Heh.. yeah. I don't think movie licences cost all that much back then, to be honest. The market was still very much making it up as it went along, so there were no multi-million dollar deals.
No doubt the publisher crammed shoddy ports onto every system out there too, to be sure they got their money back.

Very retro!!
At least this looks a bit more playable than paperboy that game looked r-e-a-l-l-y bad.
Any chance of some ds, gameboy or other late night handheld reviews?
Hope all is well with you. x

No late night stuff for the time being, as I'm mostly in bed at night these days.
However, I've completed recording the last few Electron games in my collection, so as soon as those are uploaded, I'll be moving on to a different system.
