But its easy to fathom why govts would cover up UFOs. Because they are absolutely shit your pants terrifying. The changes that extraterrestrials would make to human life is just too much for most of us. Not least if they just want us to join some galactic brotherhood. The religious problems would be huge.

At least they have scuppered the lighthouse theory. The Orfordness lighthouse has a steel screen around the back of the lantern house that stops the beam shining inland. The ligjt cannot be seen from Bentwaters, only the illumination of the clouds in reflection.

It appears that Dr David Clarke's profession is debunking things and not just UFO's either.
I have just read that he also debunked the curse over: "The Crying Boy" paintings as well.
OK, i don't believe in that curse either, but it seems that whenever there is something to be debunked he's right there.

Well, 29 years later, and they're still tying to debunk this event. All this debunking tells me is that this was an actual event that the debunkerites desperately need to explain .
