This is my 405nm laser pointer that I made in my free time. It outputs about 110mW, and uses one CR123A battery. Lasers that travel at lower wavelengths like this have some fun properties that other lasers don't, such as flouresceing things and lighting up Glow-In-The-Dark materials.
This is my second most powerful laser, and probably my favorite.
If you have any questions about lasers, don't hesitate to ask me.

  • How much if any UV do you think ur laser is giving off

  • @mewrox99 I would assume very little because this laser is between 405nm and 410nm, and the weak end of the UltraViolet spectrum begins at 400nm.

  • where can i get one of does?

  • I first recommend you visit LaserPointerForums for ideas, but DealExtreme, O-Like, and DarkLasers sell quality laser goods.

  • does it ignite things faster than a 100mw green laser? or red

  • I really haven't noticed a difference between how fast different colored lasers burn as long as they output the same amount of energy.
