I appreciate people like you taking the time to help us beginners to learn the bass better.I am a drummer of 40+ yrs and a keyboard player of 30+ yrs.For me it wasn't as hard to learn the frets because I already know the keyboard and the progression of each key.But I am going to watch your lessons to improve my beginner's skills on the bass.I have been teaching/playing myself for about 2 1/2 yrs,but still got a long way to go.I will put up a comment as I watch to share my progress from your vids

Helpful for my noob ness thx much
UH...NO.......1/2 step between B & C, same for E & F. Dont know where you learned your theory bro, but try telling someone your moving a whole step from B to C and they might laugh at you a bit. I might suggest a scale book or a chord poster from wal-mart. They're cheap, but accurate. Good luck.

@WinnipegBeardieBubba
it is a cheap ($300) Dean Edge bass I bought for my wife. I loved the feel of it after I made some modifications, and put some upgraded pick ups in it and it sounds great! Right handed.
