For optimum health, different components of the immune system should be in balance. Th1 and Th2 along with Th3 and Th17 are part of the T helper cells. These are white cells that target different threats to our health. It is possible for Th1 or Th2 to become dominant. That will interfere with your body's ability to effectively monitor your internal security. Cytokine testing can show which system is most likely dominant. You can also use supplements that tend to support one of the the other to see how you feel. If you support an already dominant Th1 you won't feel so great, for example. Glutathione and Vitamin D support are essential for helping maintain a Th1 and Th2 balance.
