Of course not, but gymnastics meant a lot to Christy. It was important to her and she took great pride in her accomplishments. They wanted to honor how hard she worked and the achievements she made in her lifetime. They also put "precious daughter" in large words on the gravestone as well.

i am a gymnast too and i know that when i do gymnastics it scares my parents to death, so i try to go into their shoes and ask myself if i want my daughter to risk her life everyday if she does gymnastics.......HELL NO!!!!....i will never put my daughter or son in gymnastics, even if i do gymnastics.

@julietheshepard Yes, I thought that odd too. Gymnastics was the reason she became anorexic and eventually died, so why trumpet her gymnastic acheivements on her gravestone?

@mortella23 oh I can handle that, just keep the weight off by eating the right food and work harder, train at least 4 to 5 hours a day till a competion. I usta train very hard till lots of injurys from my head to my foot ended my gymnastic career, it very sad for to stop cuz I love the sport too much, gymnastics heavy price to pay but if you keep the dream alive any gymnast might get somewhere, i tried and failed... I hope that answer your question my dear gymnast.
