@matttube777 Money is the root of all evil. Also, please refresh yourself on the Beattitudes as spoken by Jesus.

What a blessing. Thank you.

Poverty is a curse. Everyone needs a chance at life. And christians need to do something for this harsh world, in a good christ-like way. Give, bless and spread hope and love.

Joyce Meyers just reached through the television and set my heart and fire and healed me in only one sermon. I love you Joyce Meyers, I grew up in a family without God. I guess I was the only one that really loved God, which inspired me to sing praises to His name. I love your courage and direct talk. I needed support and you made me feel like I wasn't alone. With God's blessing and your push over the edge, I knew you were real and I could have faith, that I am not alone. Love Always-Sarah

The "Great Commission" applies to Men AND Women! Allow the Holy Spirit to guide you and spread the Gospel. A person who hears the word and gives his or her life to Christ doesn't much care if he heard the Gospel from a man or a woman. Just Spread The Gospel!! May God Bless Joyce and Dave Meyer.

Thank you Joyce Meyer ministries for your "real" to life preaching and making such a positive impact on our lives. I can truely say that JOYCE's teachings has enhanced my growth with JESUS CHRIST!!

Apart from the fact that it shows England and not the UK as a whole. I mean I am Scottish, still God Bless Joyce
Jesus wasn´t poor when he was setting the example. He became poor at the point where he became our subsitute on the cross. Let´s not preach poverty as a blessing. Let´s tell it like it is: a curse. There is no problem in us (or Joyce) living a good life as long as she´s doing the good works. And she is. Let´s stop criticizing each other out of envy and start to love each other.

You are taking Pauls comments in this book out of context. To understand you must study the era these people lived in. Some interpret this passage to mean that women should never teach in an assembled Church such as you are suggesting. Priscilla taught Apollos, the GREAT (male) Preacher (Acts 18:24-26) Paul also frquently spoke of other women who held positions of responsibility in the Church. There are many, do you want Books, Chapters & Verses?
