There is NO satellite up there -- it fell into the Pacific Ocean without leaving the atmosphere.
As a small consolation, I can sing
"金日成將軍의 노래" as well as "金正日將軍의 노래 " anyway.

How did they know the status of their satellite? The North Korea did not have any ground tracking station nor satellite tracking vessel. They did not have the fundamental requirement of developing satellite. All fake except the rocket.
