I just checked out Para on the CA legal roster. Several 45ACP pistols with 14+1 capacity are on it, but even Para's website doesn't list them. I love it!!! So "here, Mr. law abiding citizen, you're free to have any of these guns. Doesn't mean they're actually for sale anymore, though. HA-HA!!" Yeah, nice joke, you loony Lefties in California. Hooray for freedom. Only 1 pistol on their webiste is on the legal roster. And its heavy and ugly.

A para ordanance p-14 was my very first automatic,hell my very first gun and ive had it for 12 years now cause i purchased it when I was 22 and ive never had a problem out of it and I still carry it till this day

i love my 1911's colt delta elite and taurus pt 1911 but to carry im going to stick with my glock 29 for a while. i'm think i'm going to collect 1911's cause they are so pretty and fun to shoot. probably carry them once in a while but i'll use my glock for carry. i'm thinking about buying a fusion fire arms long slide 1911 kit in 10mm and building it for fun. :)

i carry my taurus pt1911 .45 and a keltec pf9 some times but i switched from the 1911 and a keltec pf9 to a glock 29.

Wouldn't you want to carry any pistol with an external safety cocked and locked regardless of the caliber?  Just don't understand what that has to do with what caliber you're carrying.

I carried a compact 1911 for a while. I "downgraded" to a G27. Smaller round, but smaller package, more rounds, and I dont care it if gets beat up. Beat up Glocks are cool!
