Local fucktards handing out flyers, outside of an anthropology class, for a seminar with the "unbelievable" DVD from Kent Hovind. Some notes on the "Dr."

He's currently serving a 10 year federal prison term.

One of his "degrees" is from an naccredited Babtist college--Bachelor of Religious Education.

His "doctorate" is from an unaccredited correspondence school--Masters and Doctorate in Christian Education--which he earned in a matter of months; his was dissertation incomplete, with poor writing, poor spelling, and poor grammatical style, no references, and repeated pages. He keeps it under copyright so others cannot use against him.

He ran "Dinosaur Adventure Land" theme park depicting humans and dinosaurs co-existing, with a depiction of "Loch Ness monster," and claims that "a few small dinosaurs still roam the planet."

Made $2 million a year from speaking and mechandise but paid no taxes; was charged with federal tax evasion, all assets seized, and given 10 year prison term. Claimed god owned all his assets, and that he himself was bankrupt.

But, as he often points out, flaws in a man do not necessarily make what he is saying untrue, so you be the judge:

The "Hovind Theory" starts the biblical account of Noah as follows: Noah's family and two of every "kind" of animal (including young dinosaurs) safely boarded the Ark before a minus 300° F (~-184°C) ice meteor came flying toward the earth and broke up in space. Some of the meteor fragments became rings and others caused the impact craters on the moon and some of the planets. The remaining ice fragments fell to the north and south poles of the earth.

He explains the fossils were created by billions of organisms that were washed together by the mass destruction of the worldwide flood, completely buried, and rapidly fossilized.

The resulting "super-cold snow" fell near the poles, burying the mammoths standing up. Ice on the North and South pole cracked the crust of the earth releasing the fountains of the deep, which in turn caused certain ice age effects, namely the glacier effects. This made the earth "wobble around" and collapsed the vapor canopy that protected it.

During the first few months of the flood, the dead animals and plants were buried, and became oil and coal, respectively. The last few months of the flood included geological instability, when the plates shifted. This period saw the formation of both ocean basins and mountain ranges and the resulting water run-off caused incredible erosion — Hovind states that the Grand Canyon was formed in a couple of weeks during this time. After a few hundred years, the ice caps slowly melted back retreating to their current size and the ocean levels increased, creating the continental shelves. The deeper oceans absorbed much of the carbon dioxide in earths atmosphere and thus allowed greater amounts of radiation to reach the earth's surface. As a result, human lifespans were shortened considerably in the days of Peleg.

Kent Hovind is the Smartest guy ever. Do yourself a favor and just believe everything he says. There is no Proof of evoluiton. Also ghostwriter511, you are not even pronouncing his name right, that shows what you know about him.

I love how you finish your videos with butterflies!
I don't think it's a good method to fight it straight on with you're wrong! type stuff, but like, an alternative, still infused with divine telling of the evolutionary universe story, or like renewal, environmental theology type stuff. They don't like atheism, which, neither do i. Somewhere in Against Civilization i read: Life is meant to be experienced profoundly. i won't let the religionist, nor the atheist take that away from me.
