In the Winter, snow starts to fall from the sky. This happened on the night before our arrival at the Danbury Railroad Museum in Danbury, Connecticut, and it couldn't have been better scenery. In this video, you will see scenes of a CN caboose, a bunch of New Haven and New York Central FL9's, and, most importantly, the un-forgettable Boston & Maine 2-6-0 #1455! We spent most of our time inside that engine, and there was even snow inside the coal bunker in the tender! You will even see me ring the bell, just-plain bell scenes, and you will see a bunch of in-cab scenes of the B&M 1455!
American Rail Videos wishes you all Happy Holidays, and a happy New Year.
I am not sure what needs to be fixed on 1455, except that it need boiler tubes

Well that little Mogul is nice. The best thing you can do. Is join the group. And give them at least $100 a year. Better yet spend the $100 on grease and oil. Not paint. When the engine was in service the railroad greased it and oiled it. This way moving parts will be protected from the rain. Remember all the equipment here has special storys. Try to learn them! As the New Haven would say "TRAIN YOURSELF TO RELAX!"

LIRR 617 was not a diesle. They took it out and used it as a cab car.

Thats a 4 million dollar project right now the museum is working on the pumphouse, New York Central Caboose, and The Tonowanda Valley car plus indoor layouts, exhibits, restoration of the RPO witch cost a lot and the bridge on the turntable is on the slate to be painted and fixed up plus say the round house going back up would be less than the 1455. Sorry if was dragging this a little too long. Write back im interested in what you have to say about the 1455.
