toyotA has a jobbank they paid there works at the texas truck plant .for almost a year when they was down a shift.the jobbank is for when a plants down for a while the company think its cheaper to keep people employed that hireing and retraining new people.plus.could you think what kind of junk would.be made with all new people l

@AJstar9 Hey I did look it up. Toyota workers on average make 7 to 9 dollars less, which is still prety good. But they don't offer a crazy job banks program like GM workers get! And GM workers make more than firefighters at FDNY. Thats just stupid and crazy!

I feel that I and the rest of this nation would be much better off if we move in a direction away from the Big 3 and its UAW. Let them drown in their own greed and errors.
The cost to keep this industry afloat exceeds its own benefit to us. Therefore it must go down along with any others who refuse to be flexible and change with circumstances.
I personally hope to see the Wall Street crumble next, for they are the symbol of greed and everything that has impeded this nation from healthy growth

The problem is that while Toyota and Honda can weather the storm since they got enough reserve capital, GM and Ford have been running on speculation much like the banks, betting all their cash into fruitless ventures. If the government's going to bail out Detroit, it should also make stipulations for the companies to revamp their business plan and stop gambling. Gambling with loan money is the root of this whole economic crisis
