This is pretty frakkin awesome. It's a land-based test of a methane booster rocket as an alternative to the hydrogen fuel rockets currently used by the space shuttle.

Methane rockets would be way lighter and thus far more efficient than current hydrogen rockets.

  • Cows are producing large amounts of methane while digesting...Due to the small energy content of methane you would rather need a hundred cows.
