Forced to wear a bikini? WHY??

((Oh, I'm crying while filming this so I know my voice sounds high pitched and winey...sorry about that)) My grandfather wont let me go to the beach unless I wear something immodest and he insults me and my modesty at every turn. What can I do?

what´s the problem of you using a bikini on the beach. That´s the normal thing, people are only gonna stare if you don´t! I respect ur religion and understand you but ur religion doesn´t respect women, they are nothing in ur religion, they can´t be alone on the streets, they can´t show skin, it´s absolutely discriminating what men do to women in ur religion and I´m completely against that. Women have right and can´t be treated like dogs.

@Xiabuse No, he's not. He's just OBSESSED with me being normal. He sees most people wearing bikinis so he thinks that makes it the right thing to do. He thinks whatever the majority do is right, no matter what it is. When I point out that the majority of teenagers swear, try alcohol, disobey their parents, go to parties, ect he just says I'm being argumentative and tells me to go away.

Let's say she was just a normal girl, no religion, she can be an atheist; some girls just aren't slutty and don't want to be leered at by men. Now do you still have a problem with her wanting to cover up?

Oh but wait, she IS just a normal girl. And she is upset about being denied the right to dress however she wants. How would you feel if someone said 'you must wear this thong and nipple tassles to the beach or else you can't go?

Sweet heart, you can wear whatever the hell you want. Don't listen to anyone else but, you have to understand that those girls want to wear bikini so you should not judge them on that. Look, I think you are a smart girl and you seem very nice but you care too much about what others are thinking. All you have to do it let go, I'm not telling you to wear a bikini (I don't even wear bikinis). Wear what you want to wear.

if it means going against ur family..do it. I was born in to a muslim family..my family arent strict about Islam but arent the ones who say go do what u like either. but when i decided to wear the Hijab/headscarf this week my mum n sister were totaly against it. But i have explained to them n said that they will just have to deal with it. When it comes to ur religion.. Allah (swt) and His commandments come first
