  • this could be the industry standard...

  • @YurVanGor...Whilst I love the idea if using iPads, I really can't see them being used in a live preofessional environment (unless your a superstar DJ that pre-records his shows!)...I wouldn't play out live with the iPad...my trusty S4 gives me so much more flexibility...

  • Is there a chance this could hook up to a macbook pro? If not, is there any turntable thats like this that can be mbp compatable?

  • @JLSneakerReview...This unit doesn't hook up to anything but an iOS device (iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad), but there is an identical unit ION Discover DJ that does hook up with PC's and Macs (and comes with a copy of Mixvibes).

Virtually all MIDI controllers will connect to both PC's and Macs

  • Hi, is your ipad acting as a remote for another comp where VDJ is loaded or is it working independently, just the ipad on its own? Like can I take my ipad and the midi to a club or does the ipad only work as a remote for another computer where you have VDJ loaded up?

    thanks.

  • @rrtyn...No...in this video the iPad is running a APP from Algoriddim called Djay for iPad. In this setup all you need is the iDJ Live and iPad.

  • Excellent vid!! Got one yesterday in the U.S they r $99.00 at best buy. Awesome for DJ newbies..only complaint runs from battery power of ur iPod/iPad or iPhone. Worth the money...also u should purchase the algorridim splitter..it allows for better mixing

  • Nice video :) Some more information: 1. You don't have to use the iPad, you can use ipod touch and iPhone too. 2. The app is great for practicing and alot of fun to perform with. 3. Recording songs are great if you want to save your peformence and you can show it to friends or family. Its a great product! ;)

  • @baileydotdj Would you recommend this to someone who is new to DJing and doesn't have a whole lot of money?
