Great video! Although i'd recommend starting with the middle diagonal ribbon. This just makes it easier to judge even distances between the ribbons :)
we're making this at my school. we do it a little different. we dont use a canvas, and we dont stitch the ribbons together. it works just fine without it and the button part is trickier than what she's showing in this video. but she did a really good job. cute cars!
look at the one by 'About" instead..they do the ribbons a lot better. and instead of stitching at the intersections just get brads to stick through its easier and there's more options for decorations.
What type of fabric did you use. Was it thick or just thin cotten?
