@mx270a No one up here is doing that, only using the poncho that comes on the seed. Also everyone up here is putting down starter fertilizer with the planters either dry or liquid, some with both.

@Cater821 It has been back to the dealer numerous times for warranty work, cab has been off once. The engine software has freaked out on me once and limited it to ~1800 RPM. Rebooting didn't fix it, but it started working normally again after a couple hours. The transmission software was designed by someone that hasn't run a tractor. Would I buy another? Yes.
