  • @greenfish13 yes, what is happening is that sulfur is being stripped of electrons and oxygen is gaining electrons.

    S + O2 --> SO2

  • awesome, but i am a little lost, so the sulpher is being oxidized as the oxygen is being reduced at the end there by the O2 forming O2S? is that right?
