An Avatar's Fear

Entered in mcanime600 amv contest - Storyline category.

There are not a lot of amvs dealing with the Avatar side of Aang. In some ways he is having to face all the problems of adults long before he is really ready. But then again, people can rise to the occasion and even preteens can change the world. Don't believe me? Go read a good history book! :D

The hardest part of this amv was finding the right ending. The question in the song is one I ask myself and I could not finish until I had answered my own fears. (Which is why this little project took almost two years) Hope you enjoy this and that it helps you answer a few of your own hearts' cries.

Oh wow. First of all, love the song. I've never heard it before but the words are so powerful and ring true to me. You showed how while he was chosen to save the world, he still failed many times, but as shown at the end, he didn't let those failures stop him. Great job combining the two for an amazing emotional impact. The only complaint I have is that the ending seems too abrupt. Even so, great amv, and I'm going to have to check out more of your videos.

@excaliber009 Yeah, that was my complaint too, but that is how the song ended so I had to figure out why...... and make it not just work - but work well. And that is why it took me almost to years to figure out how to end it! :P

Very awesome, as always. Sorry I haven't been on in a while. I've been having repairs made to my hard drive and recovering the files I lost. My house got hit by lightning, so I haven't been able to do much editing, but hopefully I'll have something for you to critique soon.

I was waiting for this one! I'm not going to try and nitpick and find places where you could've edited anything differently, I didn't notice anything on first view and nitpicking is irritating. I really liked the story and even though the music isn't something I'd listen to independently I was able to throughly enjoy the song and the video. They worked excellently together. Definitely one of my favorite avatar AMVs.

Well about time this is finished! I've been dying to see how you would end this for like a year now. It was very good. The lyrics sync was very creative and taught me quite a bit! Nicely done. ^_^
