It is an end-to-end (i.e., fiddle yard to traverser) layout and is based on the actual station on what was the Cambrian Railway, later part of the GWR. The line and station were closed in 1964 and virtually no trace of them remains today.
Bill and George have been working all out over the past few months and this film was put together on a 'running evening' at the clubrooms in November 2007.

Bill and George have been working hard over the past few months to get the layout to stage it is at now. All the buildings have now been built and wiring completed. They have decided to use DCC to control the layout and this gives individual speed control of each engine. Thanks.

Nice video of an interesting layout. Particularly like the (realistically) slow running trains and the signal box.
