Putin: We prevented economic collapse (part 1)

The economy was central to Vladimir Putin's address to 600 delegates of United Russia, gathered for the party's convention in St Petersburg.

Vladimir Putin said that in 2008 United Russia took political responsibility to contend with the global financial crisis and to prevent an economic collapse similar to the one happened in 1998 - and has delivered on that promise.

Russia's economy is recovering, with promising signs on inflation, unemployment and growth, stated Vladimir Putin, and supported his view with impressive statistics, but it is still too soon to talk about the end to the crisis.

I stay objective and I know Putin support some oligarchs but god he is such a speaker. I listen to politician everyday and few speak so frankly his remark on the reduction of the real wage of russian stomped me. No westerner politican in power would face this kind of facts with such pragmatism.The increase in demography is a good news.Long life to the russian people and the russian culture.

Public works such as infrastructures simultaneously creates a market and increases the efficiency and effectiveness of the supporting technostructures who are creating these infrastructures which in turn simultaneously expands and improves the infrastructures being created and constructed. Thus creating a self-perpetuatingly self-reinforcing cycle that increases the human life-supporting capacity of the nation's economy on an increased population density per square mile of area indefinitely.

When American forces invaded and occupied Germany they have seen the practically superior road networks created by Hitler called the Autobahn which the Americans imitated and resulted in the creation of the US Interstate Highway Network System. But did it make them to become Nazis? NO!
