Here is why I got choked up: Being able to do what I love to do (sing) and seeing people's positive and uplifting responses. Simple things such as nodding along, smiling at me, or singing along and most especially, hearing them clap for me in the middle of a song, honestly just touches me. I have felt this before while singing, but not to this extent. It was an overwhelming feeling, but in a good way because it was so encouraging. Its hard to explain exactly what I was feeling but that is the best way I can describe it.
