Thanks for posting this, but I have to say it sounds a hundred times better with that horns section intro, the great bass-line and the band singing the chorus!!!
Thing I love about Squeeze is their storytelling lyrics with specific details like the "Harold Robbins paperback" in "Mussels" or the "church and the steeple" in "Tempted." A great power pop band (I think the label fits). And two singers with wonderful voices.
It is a shame that Squeeze never got the commercial success that they were desperately trying for. An altogether great band that lasted for years. I was lucky to see them live back in the 1980's at the University of New Hapshire...
no doubt about it. Greg Lake and Glen Tilbrook are best at acoustical live sets

I've seen Glenn Tilbrook and Squeeze live 10 times. One of the best live preformers i've seen among nealy 200 concerts !!
