It's been a long hard climb for atheists to have their say despite many of the greatest scientists, thinkers, politicians and writers being non-religious over the centuries, but we've turned a corner in this post-9/11 era when people are starting to say enough is enough with religious having everything their own way.

The first memory I have of fearing religion is when I was about 8 years old. I remember telling my mom that religious people were scary. I am now in my 60s and realize that once people have been brainwashed by the religious community, they seem to have a violent tendency that you don't see in people who are not brainwashed. It's as if part of the brainwashing is that if their beliefs are challenged, they have to stop listening & attack! I am glad there are organizations like FFRF in this world.
